  Tell A Friend!

I am increasingly becoming more and more sickened by the anointing of Barack Obama as President of the United States.  I just rode up the elevator with two women who were throwing stabs at Palin, saying they hate her and that she is stupid.  So I had to say something, just couldn’t help myself.  They told me that Biden didn’t tell any lies at the debate the other night and that fact check sites verify that is the case.  Whether fact check sites say Biden didn’t lie makes absolutely no difference to me.  I actually research things myself and if you do you will notice that the fact check sites are simply wrong.  Just like they were wrong when they said that Obama didn’t vote to teach sex education to those in kindergarten.  Don’t read what others say, read the actual bill and you will see that in the first paragraph of the bill that is exactly what it says.  Of course, the self proclaimed elite are really just to lazy to do any real work investigating for themselves.  That is why they have MSNBC and CNN, so that they can be blissfully ignorant of the facts and have a source that supports whatever it is that they already previously concluded.  No need to let the facts get in the way of making the wrong decision after all!  But I digress.

The truth apparently doesn’t matter any more during an election, and even conservative outlets are starting to twist facts and reality to suit the desire to have Barack Obama elected President.  For example, in the Wall Street Journal blog today there was discussion of McCain and Palin attacking Obama on his comments regarding our troops air-raiding villages in Afghanistan.  On this point the Wall Street Journal quoted from a new McCain add that uses Obama’s own words describing what US troops are doing: “just air-raiding villages and killing civilians.”  The blog then goes on to say:

The full Obama quote, however, gives a much different tone. “We’ve got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we’re not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there,” Obama said.

Obviously the implication is that the full text of what Obama said in some way conveys a different meaning than what McCain and Palin are saying, which is simply not true. If we have to do something different, as Obama said, so that we are not air-raiding villages and killing civilians then that has to mean that Obama thinks that we are presently air-raiding villages and killing civilians.  There would not be any need to do things differently if that is not what he thought we were doing.

Of course Obama was saying that our troops are “just air-raiding villages and killing civilians,” which was the whole point of his comment.  Elect me and I will send in enough troops so that we are not “just air-raiding villages and killing civilians.” He is saying that our military men and women in Afghanistan are war criminals, and that is totally unacceptable.  How is he fit to lead our country?  How is he fit to be Commander-in-Chief of our military if he implies that our brave soldiers are committing war crimes? It is just plain disgusting that so many Americans are willing to ignore what Obama really says and make excuses for him at every turn.

Barack Obama, the man who has violated election laws by taking millions of dollars from those who are not citizens of the US, is not fit to be the President of the United States.
