  Tell A Friend!

In the debate on Thursday night between Vice-Presidential candidates Joe Biden and Sarah Palin the media, and much of the country it seems, believes that Joe Biden won the debate.  Admittedly, if you watched the debate Biden’s delivery and command seemed to suggest he won on points, but it is easy to look like a winner when you lie about virtually everything you say, make things up and then have no one challenge you on the facts.  As someone who plans on voting for McCain-Palin I am mystified by the inability to fight back, but the inability to articulate and the seeming lack of desire to engage in setting the record straight.  We all know that the liberal media is going to cut and paste video clips as necessary to make McCain and Palin look bad, so a debate with viewership of over 70 million people is an opportunity to say whatever you want without fear that it will be edited prior to distribution to the people.  Biden should have been called on his lies and exposed for the “say anything” politician he really is.

Just because Biden says Obama and McCain have voted the same doesn’t make it so.  In fact, a YES vote and a NO vote on the same piece of legislation is NOT the same vote!  How is it possible that the debate moderator didn’t call Biden on his statement that Obama never said he would sit down with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran who advocates for the extermination of all Jews and the ending of Israel?  That is exactly what Obama said, and then Presidential candidate Joe Biden called him naive.  In truth, Biden was not the only Democrat to question Obama on his willingness to speak with Ahmadinejad without preconditions.  This was a big deal in the media when he said it, and remains a big issue in the election, yet Biden says Obama never said that.  YES HE DID!!!!

Of course, we know why Gwen Ifill, the debate moderator, didn’t call Biden on his many lies.  She is writing a book titled “Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama,” which is to be released on inauguration day in January 2009.  So the debate moderator has a vested financial interest in Obama winning because a book about the “Age of Obama” certainly won’t do nearly as well in sales if John McCain wins the election.  So why in the name of all that is right and justified was she allowed to moderate the debate?  What do you suppose would have happened if it came out that a debate moderator was writing a book titled “The Age of McCain”?  We all know that moderator would have stepped down and a “neutral” would be put in her place.  So it would seem that even the Commission on Presidential Debates has no interest in being neutral and/or at least trying to maintain the appearance of neutrality.  Sickening really!

If Barack Obama wins the upcoming US presidential election it will be nothing short of a coup d’état lead by the liberal media.  I am in favor of First Amendment free speech, but there is something terribly wrong when a group of self proclaimed elite can fix an election in the United States.  What is even worse is that no one seems to care!

The truth should matter and it should be impossible for those with a choke grip on the dissemination of news to repeatedly promote lies and relay untruths as fact.  What we are seeing develop as the US presidential election turns into the home stretch over the next month is nothing short of mind control.  Those with an agenda should not be able to use public airwaves to so blatantly promote one candidate.  Those who have the ability to define the public debate and control and manipulate the feelings of Americans should not be able to provide such one-sided coverage.  What the liberal media is doing to John McCain, and what they did to Hillary Clinton, ought to be criminal!

Essentially the media has decided who needs to be President of the United States and they are going to do whatever it takes to get him elected, even if that means not reporting the truth.  How is this any different than state run and manipulated media in toltalitarian societies?  What the media is doing is embarrassing and stupefying!  Even more difficult to understand is how so many Americans are allowing themselves to be openly dupped by those who are so arrogant that they look down on the very people they need to rely upon to deliver the election to Obama.

  1. how obama won the election Says:

The Media Research Center’s Brent Bozell, like NRO’s John Derbyshire , is probably someone I should ignore now that it’s finally morning in America, for the rest of us. But Bozell’s latest outburst is useful in pointing up the complete
